In the final mac inductions we were asked to preflight check a ID document and to identify problem area's for print.
No bleed on the first page
The blue colour on the page is actually a RGB colour so it needs to be converted to CMYK
The writing on the bottom of the page is set in Registration black which will produce a 400% ink print, needs to be changed to normal black.
The tree silloute image is missing from illustrator so file needs to either be located or it will print out as a low quality image.
By packaging a file in indesign it will save whatever fonts you use and images all in a save file which you can then transfer on a USB for print, this will stop any unexpected surprises cropping up.
The package menu also shows if there is any problems with your files for instance missing files wrong colour types, colours and inks.
