Aperture bind tests

I decided to change a bind I found to my own publication's specifications. After no one down at vernon street could help me and their only advice was a print shop in york I decided to try out somehting I saw and adapt it. I had a load of perfect bound booklets then individual double pages. to get the bind right I basically Zig Zag bound it through but I had to have exactly 5 separate booklets to allow the zig zag to come in at the left top and leave at the bottom right. The publication consisted of two of these zig zag binds. The only problem with my bind was It had exposed bits of thread left over that I needed to trim and how ever little they were just about noticeable.
