This was the first quick full mock up which was using the google 'G' as the main design template. This was mainly done to see how the design would sit across all the panels of the box. The idea which we came up for was to put the flat Google Logo across the top of all 4 boxes and the on each of the individual boxes 'fold' the design around the panels. So if all 4 boxes came together you would see the over all logo appear on the top and around each of the boxes.
Not sure if i like the Google design on the card the colours are too bright especially for the edges of the box kind of feels like it doesn't work together very well.
QR Code sits well against the Foam. Contrasts well.
20% opacity is way too low maybe like a 40%er or somehting.
Type does not really balance well on the design, the opacity is too low and makes it even less readable.
Overall i do not like the design weve used here, mainly because the person picking up the box would not clock on that its the google logo 'folded' around the panels and without that concept it just looks like silly shapes plastered thoughtlessly on a box with type kind of sitting on it.
Obviously this is a crap paper stock mock up but kind of gives me an idea of what to expect.
