Final Printed Nets

These are some of the final printed net's i produced, they are printed on a range of stocks and colour schemes to experiment which combinations work the best.

From these combinations i liked the grey stock the most against the dark navy and light blue writing (pantone 291c). The light blue against the light yellowish stock is also a good combination but the logo is too small and doesn't make much impact.

The dark navy shade of blue against the grey stock seemed to sit well, the low quality printer gave the disc a grainy print feeling to it which felt like it gave it a bit more depth.

The off white stock with the dark and light blues seem to work aswell but the dark grey stock still looks better yet, the darker stocks just help the logo sit well on the paper.

The antique white stock works well with darked browns and blacks then the blue, the stock reduces the harsh contrast between the paper and the logo which standard white stock does.

Quick experimentation, i do feel like it could work better on some light grey stock, the grey scale image  would sit better on it especially if i toned down the intensity of it on photoshop.

The navy blue doesn't show up very well on the grey stock at this scale, if my package models are at a small scale i will need to consider making it a darker shade or using a less complex version of the logo.

The colourschemes on this packaging model does not work at all. the stock is far too light and too light and the browns dont compliment it, it feels like the logo's are just kind of drifting around on the package net, i need to rearrange to logo's and fill the model then reconsider another colour scheme potentailly light grey stock with navy blue and light blue colours.

The brown stock reduces the feel of the logo just sitting in the middle of the paper, but its too dark and lighter colours should be considered.
