Getting all my letters uniform with the same features

Letters with a angle in them.

Producing the O could not be simpler but this was a key letter within my alphabet.

Small detail within some letters to make the font look right, the little things like pushing back the top of the R a little bit and not lining it up with the leg. 

Producing the W.

The W is basically 2 V's but this makes it a very wide letter.

simply thinning out the V's and then putting them together achieved my letter form.

This issue page through allowed me to have a glimpse at how my publication would flow. I decided to change the end of it as it felt like the invitation was just bolted on the end to finish it. Page numbers also feel far too bold and could sit better at a lower point size. The end of the first article also needed some help.

I sat down and got some feedback from a peer I respect within editorial design (max gregory) he gave me a good few bits of critical feedback and gave me a little bit to spot the things I didnt notice by looking at it for too long. 

Dots Printhaus Visit (Research)

I went to see dots over the summer to get a bit of advice about tshirt printing mainly out of my own and this then ended up being incredibly helpfull for my project. The way their studio is run and the designs gave me a good confidence boast and advice on producing and making tshirts.

Branding after we both discussed spoke about and basically did some design along side each other to get the direction of the logo, I decided to take a step back from the design of the Main part of the logo and added the bottom part of it which allowed the logo to sit well along side the clothing tags and other platforms. At this point I decided to work on Tshirts a bit more and start think about the look book.

Clothing Inside Tags (Development)

I had the job of producing the inside tags, this was basically really simple as we didn't want to produce something too complicated and we still wanted to connote the hand made aesthetic. The idea was to put "loose, Quality clothing" with the washing details in via screen print then hand write the tshirt size on it.
